Photos: EndSARS memorial protest starts at Abuja's Unity Fountain

At Abuja's Unity Fountain, a protest to mark the first anniversary of the #EndSARS movement has begun.

The protesters gathered behind a large banner that read, "We Never Forget." '#EndSARS memorial, 20.10.20.'

At the #EndSARSMemorial protest at Lekki tollgate in Lagos, celebrities and activists joined a car procession.

Despite a ban on protests in Lagos and a large presence of armed police officers at the tollgate, this is happening.

Celebrities and other groups who arrived with their cars at the tollgate were seen waving Nigerian flags and honking horns while singing solidarity songs.

Protesters in Abuja, on the other hand, were seen holding placards and chanting as they gathered at the Unity Fountain.
