Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi aka Whitemoney, the winner of BBNaija's "Shine Your Eye" competition, has announced a deal with Banky W's record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
On Tuesday, the joyous reality TV personality announced it on his Instagram page.
He posted a picture of himself with Captain Tunde Demuren and Banky W.
The prospective "Grammy-winner" announced the release date for an upcoming project and expressed joy about his new trip in the caption of the photo.
He wrote: “Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow. “Egwu” & “You Bad” DROPS: 23:09:22. Are You Ready????
Banky W, a singer and politician, and Captain Tunde Demuren are co-owners of EME Music, which was founded in 2002.
Recording artists like Banky and Niyola called it home. The label's official DJ was DJ Xclusive. The label had previously signed Wizkid, Skales, and Shaydee.
However, Banky W disclosed in 2018 that the record company that gave Wizkid's music career a start, Empire Mates Entertainment, has changed its focus from making and selling recordings to working as a media and management firm.
The company, he said, had undergone a reorganisation, and its services had been shifted to a media firm that handled PR, talent acquisition, and production.
Some of the talents under the new EME agency include such ToolzO, Adesua Wellington, Ebuka Echendu, DJ Xclusive and of course Banky W.
