Southampton keen on signing Paul Onuachu

Paul Onuachu, a hot Nigerian forward for KRC Genk, is wanted by Southampton of the English Premier League.

According to the source, the English squad is very interested in the Nigerian attacker due to his outstanding play for his present club.

The goal striker clearly established himself in the Belgian professional league due to his 13 goals for his team, including three penalty kick goals.

The striker initially held the scoring lead for Belgium, but Mario González of OH Leuven finally tied him with 13 goals (including four penalty kick goals).

However, the striker has gained enormous popularity in Belgium, where shirt sales in December 2022 set a new record.

The Saints have taken note of this to bolster their team and are now vigorously chasing a transfer for the striker to St. Mary Stadium.

Due to their current position in the 2022–23 Premier League standings, the Red and Whites are not enjoying a successful campaign.

The Nigerian, whose current market value is €15 and whose contract with Luminus Arena runs through the summer of 2024, is anticipated to stay on until then.

Onuachu's Smurfs biography indicates that his team will ask the English team to spend a fortune in their desperate search for the right players.
