Victor Osimhen wants to smash everything when things go wrong

Former Napoli player Walter Gargano has lauded Victor Osimhen, the team's current striker, claiming that he is "eager for goals" and "always gives his all" on the pitch.

One of the team's best players is the 24-year-old Nigerian international, especially now that the Partenopei are leading the Serie A rankings.

The 38-year-old Gargano, who played 189 times for Napoli before joining Penarol, discussed the advantages of the Super Eagle prior to this week's league start against Inter Milan.

“Osimhen has incredible strength, he has an obvious hunger for goals, he never leaves a ball to chance,” Gargano was quoted as saying in Napoli Magazine.

“If he gets it wrong he gets angry with himself because he always wants to get the best. He wants to break everything. It’s good to keep running, just like he’s doing.”

He has played 11 times for Napoli in Serie A this season, scoring nine times and assisting on two more goals. This season’s first goal was scored in the August 15 5-2 victory over Hellas.

His efforts have been essential in Napoli’s continued pursuit of the league championship; after 15 matches, the squad is now unbeaten and sits atop the standings with 41 points.

He’ll be looking to score when Napoli face Inter Milan at the San Siro on Wednesday as they return to Serie A play.
