2023 Election: Manu Soro Re-elected to House
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially declared Hon Manu Soro, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the winner of the Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency election in Bauchi state.

He obtained 36, 596 votes to defeat Bashir Ibrahim Bello of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who scored 29, 134 votes - a difference of 7, 462 votes.

The ecstatic moment was marked with joy and celebration as Manu Soro gains his second term ticket to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives; an impressive victory for PDP.

The Returning Officer Professor Shuaibu M. Ade while making the declaration ordered that Mansur be presented with his Certificate of Return at once.

This resounding success has been since welcomed by members and supporters of PDP in Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency; particularly from those who have watched him serve diligently during his first tenure at the house.

While reiterating their commitment to better representation for their constituents, Manu Soro said he is determined to gain more from what he achieved during his first tenure by focusing on bridging the infrastructural gap in the road network and social amenities amongst other important needs that people are yearning for in this region; such as healthcare services and youth employment programs.

It is then clear that honest representation should take priority over any form of tribal affiliations or sentiments, and INEC has done justice today to those whose trust was vested in them to decide rightful winners during elections.

Therefore we urge all citizens to remain faithful until the next call is made during subsequent elections come 2022 while we keep supporting Hon Mansur Manu Soro so he could continue to propel the development agenda even further within Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency while serving out his current second term mandate until 2023 when elections will be scheduled again.
