At Iyana-Era on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, an articulated truck carrying a 20-foot container fell and spilled its contents on the road, slowing down traffic.
On Saturday morning, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority announced this in a statement on their Twitter account.
"Report of an articulated truck that crashed while carrying two loaded 20-foot containers, spilling their contents on the road at Iyana era inward Okoko, along the Lagos-Badagry expressway.
"Counterflow is ongoing; Asiribo has a backlog. As efforts are made to remove the obstructions from the road, personnel on the ground are managing the situation, according to the statement.
