Lagos Govt Refutes EndSARS Lekki Tollgate Bodies Claims

The Lagos State Government has issued a statement addressing the claims surrounding the bodies of 103 victims of the #EndSARS protest in 2020. According to the government, the bodies prepared for mass burial were not from the Lekki tollgate, as previously alleged. The statement clarified that the bodies were instead picked up from various locations across Lagos, including Ikeja, Ajah, Isolo, Ikorodu, and more.

The government also emphasized that no bodies were retrieved from the Lekki tollgate incident, as was being speculated.
