Madu’s appointment shows Nigerians’ go-getter spirit, says President Buhari
President Muhmmadu Buhari has said the appointment of Nigerian-born Kaycee Madu is another pointer to the fact that Nigerians are go-getters who have distinguished themselves in different areas of life.

The President stated this on Thursday in his congratulatory message to Madu on his appointment as the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General of the Province of Alberta in Canada.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, President Buhari said: “Madu makes history as the first African-born provincial minister in Canadian history, and is also the Provincial Secretary and Keeper of the Great Seal of the Province of Alberta.”

He described the honour as “landmark and historic”, adding that it once again elevates people of Nigerian descent as go-getters who distinguish themselves in different walks of life.
