See the reasons why people die while sleeping
Many have gone to bed at night and by dawn, they never woke up.

A person may lock up his or her room and sleep off. In the morning family members or neighbours, after waiting so long for him/her to come out, as usual, knock on the door without response, the door may be broken forcefully and the individual seen lying motionlessly on the floor. Full of superstition some may attribute the such tragedy to the handiwork of witches and wizards in our society.

When someone dies from sleep family members of the deceased will suspect every person as far and near as being responsible for such death. May we always remember what our lord said in the BIBLE. “you have already won the victory over all these people because the spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world “.

WHY DO PEOPLE DIE FROM SLEEP?

1: Chronic illness: This is a long-term or prolonged disease condition. This group of illness has no permanent cure, but patients can keep up their activities if he adheres strictly to their treatment. Examples of such diseases are hypertension, diabetes, and malignant tumours (cancer tumours).
2: Airway obstruction: This is when there is blockage or stoppage of a normal respiratory pattern of an individual. It may occur due to bad sleeping posture. One may obstruct his or her nostrils and mouth with heavy thick linen while asleep; this may lead to little or no oxygen intake to the body tissue.
3: Geriatric state: This is a condition of ageing obviously and naturally, there is degeneration of cell tissue, organ and system during this stage which means that may be organs or system failure or collapse due to old age.
4: Poison: This is the form of food poisonous gases or substances. When family members eat a poisoned meal or food and go to bed by morning they may all be dead.
5: Lifestyle: It is a way of living of an individual, family or group. Some people eat, drink, or smoke anyhow. They don’t care about what these substances can do to their body system. These groups of people may eat or drink some poisonous substance, feel sleepy and pass out just like that.
6: Suicidal action: Some individuals feel they are fed up with the ups and downs of this world they may be so frustrated that they may take their own lives. They may take a very high dose of certain drugs or some poisonous substances and sleep off. By dawn, they are found dead.
