The Vice-Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, has lauded the Tertiary Education Trust Fund for the provision of facilities and structures which have contributed to the upgrade of the nation’s institutions of higher learning.

Olanipekun, who said the majority of the projects in the country’s institutions of higher learning were sponsored by TETFUND and NEEDS Assessment, said, “If not for TETFUND, the tertiary institutions would have, by now, been shadows of themselves.”

He spoke in Ado Ekiti during the official handover of four twin-lecture theatres with a total of 2,000 seating capacity sponsored by TETFUND to the university.

“We want to appreciate the Federal Government for the gesture and for what it has been doing through TETFUND, other agencies and the Federal Ministry of Education which have significantly led to upgrade in the facilities and structures of our campuses.
