An 80-year-old retired lecturer, Prof. Muritala Haroon, on Thursday, told a Customary Court sitting in Mapo, that his significant other(wife), Afsat, actually denies him sex.
At the continued hearing in the suit, Haroon said, "my significant other didn't comply with the counsel given to her by this court to permit harmony to rule by consenting to play out her obligations."
Be that as it may, Afsat was obviously missing when she was called, and no one addressed her in court.
The Leader of the court, Boss Ademola Odunade, advised Haroon to practice more persistence.
"The court will work with the all-encompassing individuals from the family to determine the matter agreeably," he said.
Odunade suspended the case until May 17 for an additional meeting.
Haroon had in February petitioned for the disintegration of his 52-year-old marriage on the grounds of sexual starvation and danger to life.
In the appeal, he affirmed that Afsat was attached to keeping him out of the room.
" I can presently don't adapt to the demeanour once more. Most exceedingly awful still, she and her family members need me dead.
"Afsat endeavored to cut me. She is misdirecting our six kids. She has turned them against me," he said.
Afsat had, in her answer, dismissed the supplication for partition.
" Prof is indiscriminate. I can not have anything to do with it since he laid down with his dear companion's three spouses.
"My master, Haroon laid down with the three spouses of the one who went about as a go-between at whatever point we had issues," she said.
