The Vice-Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kaduna State chapter, Rev. Dr. Chris Annger, has said that only the true word of God will save the Church and society from the troubles of the present circumstances.

The Cleric, who claimed the government knows how to ensure absolute peace in every nook and cranny of the country, maintained that the clergy can only advice and suggest better solutions.

Speaking at his 20 years anniversary ordination as Minister at the Universal Reformed Christian Church, NKST Kaduna, Rev. Dr. Chris Annger, noted that it is only in the true word of God that His followers would continue to appreciate one another and live in peace, the way it ought to be in an ideal society.

He added, “lt is only the word of God that will teaches you to forgive, love, accommodate your neighbour no matter what he or she has done to you. We should learn to appreciate one another for us to live in peace, unity and as an entity for the development of mankind on earth.”

He added, “As for me, a preacher of the gospel, l will continue to preach only the true word of God to my followers so that they will know the truth, work in the truth and the truth will set them free from the troubles of this world and beyond.”

Rev Annga who said he had always desired to work in the vineyard of God, stressed that the grace of God upon a man can sustain him in a chosen path.

He added, “The grace has seen me through all these years by helping to support me to do all l have been able to do as a worker in the vineyard of God.”

“As a Church”, he said, “We will continue to pray and honestly advice the government with honest and sincere prayers on the way forward for the country but ours is to advise because the government knows how to go about to ensure absolute peace in every nook and cranny of the country.”
