A group of four young technocrats from Maiduguri, Borno State, carried out the EV.
According to Prime 9ja Online, the four innovators presented Aliyu with the vehicle on Wednesday at the NADDC office in Abuja.
The NADDC director-general praised the project and the young people for taking the initiative.
He urged other young Nigerians to follow in his footsteps by using their newly acquired knowledge and skills to solve societal issues.
Aliyu stated that the agency would support the vehicle’s mass production and ensure it met international standards.
He said, “We hope to see more of this from other Nigerians. The NADDC is committed to this. We will sit with the guys and discuss how to make it more efficient and applicable for Nigerians.
“We are going to look into mass production of the vehicle in the most effective way that will meet acceptable global standards.”
Aliyu also stated that the nation’s policies had already created a solid framework for the project, adding that the government was improving the patronage of automobiles built in Nigeria.
