In celebration of his birthday which is on the 30th of June, the founder of the newly launched The Wise Foundation Mr. Wisdom Ofoighe, represented by some of his friends, and family members visited different orphanages including Aid People Change Orphanage, Edo Orphanage, Amadin Orphanage, and Project Cherry Love to donate food items and cash as well as interact with children who in turn prayed for them.
Items including but not limited to bags of rice, tubers of yam, cartons or noodles, seasoning cubes, and kegs of vegetable and palm oil amongst others were donated to various orphanages.
At Mission Road where some beggers usually converge, bowls of cooked food were distributed as an act of kindness to the less privileged persons there.
Representatives of the Founder of The Wise Foundation expressed joy at the opportunity to be a part of the outreach.
They commended Wisdom who they described as a philanthropist who despite his young age was already seeking ways to be a blessing to the less privileged, especially children.
According to Mr. Moses Jonah, a representative of the founder;
“Wisdom Ofoighe, he is a young man who grew up in the city of Benin here and over the time he has associated with a lot of persons and every year he said like he said, he celebrates his birthday, and this year he decided to celebrate it in this form to launch this NGO called "The Wise Foundation" and also reach out to every orphanage home, to take it as a point of contact to also impart life in them” — he said.
Erica Adams, a member of the foundation said;
“He has a heart of giving and I'm here to support him.”
Felix Ogboi, a member of the foundation said;
