Wole Olanipekun expresses remorse for attempting to kidnap a brief from Ajumogobia's company

Wole Olanipekun, the President of the Body of Benchers, has disowned a lawyer in his organisation in response to an attempt to kidnap a client of Henry Ajumogobia, a renowned Nigerian attorney (SAN).

Prime9jaOnline reported earlier that SAIPEM Contracting Nigeria Ltd., a client of Ajumogobia, received a letter from Adekunbi Ogunde, a partner at Wole Olanipekun & Co., requesting that he handle a brief.

In the Rivers, high court, Saipem SPA, Saipem Nigeria, and other defendants are currently on trial for allegedly defrauding the Rivers state government of $130 million

Ogunde requested that the business hire the law firm to handle the issue in the aforementioned letter, which was addressed to Francesco Caio, CEO of SAIPEM.
