According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), terrorists carried off a daring attack on the prison on Tuesday night, blasting their way inside and freed 879 detainees.

At least 64 prisoners who are facing terror-related charges were listed among the detainees who were proclaimed wanted.

Muhammad Sani Adamu, Muktar Umar, Nambil Zakari Gambo, AbdulKareem Musa, Abdulsalami Adamu, and others are among those listed as sought.

33 of the prisoners who escaped on Tuesday night from the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Center in Abuja have been listed as wanted by the federal government as of Friday.

The 33 prisoners were allegedly involved in terrorism charges and belonged to the Boko Haram sect.
