With the words, "I won't rest until I deliver relief to Nigerians," President Muhammadu Buhari reaffirmed that his administration would continue to address the country's ongoing security issues and cost of living concerns.

Buhari claimed that "most of the issues plaguing our society would have been solved if we are putting the teachings of our religions into practice."

President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly assured the public once more that his administration would continue to address the nation's present security issues and high expense of living by stating, "I won't rest until I offer relief to Nigerians."

In a statement, the president's media aide Malam Garba Shehu said that the assurance was included in the president's Friday in Abuja delivered Eid-el-Kabir greeting to Nigerian Muslims and other residents.

The president continued, "I am very aware of the struggles people are going through and attempting to solve them.

But he urged Nigerians to put their nation's interests ahead of their own and to "use religion as a motivation for the love of our common humanity."

Buhari claimed that "most of the issues plaguing our society would have been solved if we are putting the teachings of our religions into practice."

According to the President, religion should be used as a catalyst for doing good for the nation and humanity rather than just as a badge of identity.

He expressed disapproval at the theft of public funds by government employees and other people in positions of trust and said that these negative vices were a result of our society's rejection of the moral precepts of our religions.

"Our society is full of inconsistencies. People show off their religiosity on the outside without having any fear of God, they make life difficult for others, and money has become their god. Leaders also violate their oaths of office by taking money intended for the general welfare and diverting it to their personal accounts, He claimed.

For special mention, Buhari thanked "the heroic men and women in uniform fighting terror on many fronts and their families, as well as others held captive and kept away from their homes by wicked and callous terrorists" in his congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid.

He took the opportunity to encourage all Muslims to consider the importance of the sacrifice embodied by Eid.

While celebrating this spiritually significant event in our lives, he stated, "We should demonstrate compassion and care to our neighbors and others."

Additionally, President Buhari counseled Muslims to "spread the positive aspects of Islam via personal examples and practice.

Muslims should refrain from associating with violent extremist beliefs that have unjustly distorted Islam's image or negatively impacted public perception.

The President hoped that everyone in Nigeria would have blessings this Eid, including peace, prosperity, and safety, and he emphasized that the nation would experience coexistence and stability. Religion ought to serve as a driving force behind doing good deeds for the nation and humanity, not only as a badge of identity.
