Buhari Mourns Japan Ex-Prime Minister Shinzo
The family of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has received deep condolences from President Muhammadu Buhari following the brutal murder of the former leader.

The president also expressed sympathy to the government and people of Japan over the disaster in a message of condolence sent by his media assistant, Mr. Femi Adesina, on Friday in Abuja.

Buhari assured the family of Abe that they are in all Nigerians' prayers and thoughts as they cope with the loss of the nation's longest-serving prime minister and exceptional leader.

He asserts that Abe's steadfast dedication to fostering commerce and investment between Africa and Japan through a variety of initiatives and alliances, including the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, will live on in memory (TICAD).

According to the president, under Abe, Nigeria and Japan benefited from a strategic collaboration that supported their mutual objectives for economic cooperation, access to healthcare, the development of human resources, the prevention of natural disasters, and peace and security.

The Nigerian president hoped that the late statesman and revered world leader's memory would bring blessings to his country and the people he so devotedly served..
