Fire outburst at Okada NIPOST Office, Edo State (video)
There was a fire outbreak at the Okada NIPOST Office, the headquarters of Ovia Northeast local government area of Edo State on June 30, 2022.

The fire outbreak reportedly started at about 11:30pm that night.

Over 10 shops and business centers were reportedly affected by this outbreak, although the NIPOST office itself wasn't affected.

Many properties were lost as a result of the outbreak.

According to eyewitness reports, faulty electrical is thought to be the source of the fire outbreak.

It was also reported that people use it as an opportunity to loot goods and properties of the shops and business centers that weren't affected at all.
