According to Fabrizio Romano, Oleksandr Zinchenko is one step away from becoming Arsenal’s new signing. If this deal is completed, Manchester City will try to sign Catalan Marc Cucurella.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is one of the players who could leave Manchester City in this transfer window. The Ukrainian does not have much of a place in Pep Guardiola’s team and could continue his career at Arsenal.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are willing to invest 35 million euros to sign the 25-year-old left-back. The deal could be officially finalised in the next few hours.
Faced with this situation, the Manchester City outfit could go to the market to look for a new left-back. In that sense, the targeted player is the Catalan Marc Cucurella.
Brighton, the club that owns his rights, are demanding 60 million to let go of the former Barcelona player, who has become a key part of the south of England side’s back line last season.
The Cityzens, for their part, are looking for the Brighton board to lower the price a little. For now there is no agreement, but the fact is that Cucurella is close to being coached by Guardiola at City. In the next few hours there could be news for him and also for Zinchenko.
