Wonderkid from Nigeria joins Onyeka at Brentford
Michael Olakigbe, a Nigeria-eligible attacker, has signed a four-year contract with English Premier League team Brentford, the club has announced.

In 22 Under-18 Premier League games last season, Olakigbe excelled for Fulham, scoring eleven goals and dishing out three assists.

One of the key players for Fulham U-18, the clever and quick right-winger helped the team to a sixth-place league finish.

Brentford, one of the Premier League's newest teams last year, swooped in to sign him as a result of his performance.

The 18-year-old wonderkid was welcomed by the Bees, according to a website announcement. With a four-year contract that includes a one-year extension option, Olakigbe joins for an undisclosed price.

Olakigbe will play for the youth squad, but if he makes a good impression on Bees manager Thomas Frank, he might have the chance to play in the senior team alongside Super Eagles great Frank Onyeka.

Olakigbe was born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents, but he has lived in England all of his life. He presently plays for the English youth teams, but under FIFA rules, he is still free to switch allegiances to Nigeria.
