The corps member was recognized during a passing-out parade held at Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja among the 725 departing 2021 Batch "B" Stream I corps members.

In his speech, Governor Bello exhorted the corps members to work toward improving Nigeria by selfless service, commitment to duty, honesty, integrity, and accountability.

"I am pleased to observe that you contributed to the socio-economic development of the state in various ways, particularly in rural communities, where the bulk of you served," the governor stated. We appreciate the efforts you made to make these advancements possible in order to raise the living standards of the many communities in Kogi State.

He pointed out that their particular contributions to the delivery of primary healthcare services, the provision of high-quality education and rural infrastructure, and support for the Sustainable Development Goals were crucial in fostering and advancing the government's reform program.

Governor Bello continues, "Their assignment to different host communities must have endeared them to the custom and customs, which have subsequently enlarged their perception and knowledge, relevant to a united Nigeria of our dreams."

Williams Adebimpe, the Kogi State NYSC Coordinator, who also emphasized that the time for solely looking for white-collar professions was long gone and urged participants to make the most of the talents they had gained via the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program.

She emphasized that many of their forebears who had heeded this advice were now major employers of labor and business owners, making significant contributions to the nation's GDP.

The Kogi State Governor's presentation of N10,000 in cash to each departing corps member as a transportation allowance was the highlight of the ceremony.
