Atletico Madrid rule out loan deal for Juventus target Alvaro Morata
Juventus still wants to re-sign Alvaro Morata, but they have been dealt a setback after Atletico Madrid apparently rules out a loan agreement.

The 29-year-old Spanish striker spent the previous two seasons on loan with the Bianconeri, where he stood out in particular during the second campaign under Massimiliano Allegri. He was an important part of their attack at a crucial time when both Federico Chiesa and Paulo Dybala were still out with injuries.

Massimiliano Allegri, according to Tuttosport, is desperate to have Morata back but may have to search elsewhere because Atletico Madrid will only allow the 29-year-old to depart in a permanent deal.

The former Chelsea player is wanted by the Spanish team for about €35 million, which is roughly how much the Old Lady would have had to pay to extend his loan earlier this summer.

Due to La Liga's strict financial regulations, Atletico Madrid have decided against a loan arrangement. Selling Morata a year after a loan period would further amortise his cost, something Diego Simeone's team is trying to avoid.
