Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, and his wife Nonye were there when Peter Okpaleke, the bishop of Ekwulobia, was sworn in by Pope Francis as a cardinal in Rome.
Okpaleke was one of the 20 new cardinals the Catholic church swore in on Saturday.
As the head of the Ndi Anambra delegation and a distinguished guest, Soludo was in St. Peter's Square in Rome for the occasion.
