Dapo Abiodun calls on investors to maximise abundant resources
The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has urged both domestic and international investors to capitalise on the state's enormous natural and human resources in order to make the state an investment destination of choice.

In Yewa North Local Government, the Governor made the decision during the installation and presentation of the new Aboro of Ibese with the Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office.

Ibese is one of the Communities that hosted significant Companies due to its huge limestone resource, according to Oba, Oluwaseyi Rotimi Mulero.

Abiodun urged the newly crowned king to use his authority as First Class Oba to maintain the favourable business climate for current investors while luring new ones to the area.

The state's top citizen, who was represented by Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, the permanent secretary of the ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs, noted that the monarch's cooperation with all the state's security organisations would also go a long way in sustaining peace and tranquilly in his domain and that growth and development can only take place in a setting of peace.

The Governor also exhorted the Oba to rally his people and remind them of their civic duties, which include paying taxes, rates, and levies on time and taking part in the voting process, which begins with getting a permanent voter's card.

In his welcome speech, Hon. Gabriel Ogunyomi, the Executive Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, urged the Ibese people to accept the new king or queen and promised them his assistance in bringing more democratic benefits to the neighbourhood and Yewaland as a whole.

Oba Mulero in his acceptance speech thanked Governor Abiodun for the privilege given him to serve his people, saying he will always be available to listen and work with all and sundry for the progress of Ibeseland.
