The Kano Action Democratic Party candidate for governor, Sha'aban Ibrahim Sharada, gave his approval on Monday to the choice of journalist Abbas Yushau Yusuf to serve as spokesperson.
Abbas Yushau Yusuf was chosen as the campaign spokeswoman owing to his extensive experience in the media industry, which spans more than ten years, according to a statement released by the ADP governor candidate and provided to newsmen.
Shaaban Sharada expects the new campaign spokesperson to be capable of providing a strong, healthy, and positive media interaction free from animosity.
Abbas Yushau Yusuf, the new ADP gubernatorial campaign spokesperson, has expertise in print, electronic, and online media and graduated from Bayero University Kano's department of mass communications in 2008.
Yushau Yusuf who is the publisher of an influential Kano based online newspaper platform bagged his masters degree from the faculty of communication, Bayero University Kano in the year 2016 and has attended several courses and workshops.
Abbas Yushau Yusuf is also versatile in Nigeria’s political and military history and has experience in teaching and learning and voluntary work.
