Kano Assembly approves nine new commissioners
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's nine new commissioner nominees were vetted by the Kano State House of Assembly on Monday.

The letter from Ganduje for another commissioner-nominee, Aminu Ibrahim-Tsanyawa, was received, according to Speaker Hamisu Ibrahim-Chidari.

On August 15, Ibrahim-Chidari had read the first letter from the governor.

The nominations came after some state executive council members resigned to seek for government in 2023.

Ibrahim Dan'azumi, Abdulhalim Abdullahi, Lamin Sani-Zawiyya, and Ya'u Abdullahi-Yan'shana are the commissioners.

Others include Ali Burum-Burum, Yusuf Jibirin, Adamu Fanda, Garba Yusuf Abubakar, and Saleh Kausami.

After the legislators thought about their interview, which focused on their accomplishments, they were confirmed.

An invitation letter has been sent to Ibrahim-Tsanyawa to appear on Tuesday for screening.
