Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the governor of Kebbi State, has given his approval for the recruitment of 12 more district chiefs.
This is stated in a statement provided to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi and signed by Mohammed Sani Umar Yaldu, permanent secretary of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Yaldu lists the following individuals as having been appointed: Mustapha Usman Adamu, district head of Ka'oje in the Bagudo local government; Alhaji Musa Bashar, district head of Makera in the Birnin Kebbi local government; Alhaji Haruna Iliyasu Bashar, district head of Raha in the Bunza local government; Aliyu Badaji Kwakkwaba, district head of Kwakkwaba in the Dandi local government;
The remaining leaders are Dr. Sahabi Sule Manga, district head of Manga in Zuru local government, Hon. Bala Danbaba Waje, district head of Waje in Danko-Wasagu local government, Kamaladeen Abdullahi, district head of Marafa in Fakai local government, Isah Umar Bajida, district head of Bajida in Fakai local government, Alhaji Dauda Haruna Noma, district
Bagudu congratulated the new hires, gave them instructions on how to repay the trust placed in them, and wished them Allah's guidance as they carried out their duties.
