In comparison to the N429.38 it swapped for the dollar on Thursday, the naira was worth N429.05, a rise of 0.08 percent.
On Friday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N428 to the dollar.
Before it closed at N429.05., the highest exchange rate ever seen during the trading day was N444.
Throughout the course of the day's trade, the Naira fell as low as 416.06 to the dollar.
At the official Investors and Exporters window on Friday, foreign exchange transactions of 50.22 million dollars were made.
