A man has been detained by the police after he is accused of killing his 66-year-old grandmother in Ondo town.
Madam Florence Olaloye, the deceased, was discovered in a pool of blood in her bedroom.
According to reports, the accused resided with her.
Pelumi, a different grandchild of the dead who was also residing with her, claimed that on the tragic day, his grandmother, who was cooking, had ordered him to the market to purchase snails while the accused was inside ironing his clothing.
Pelumi claimed that upon returning, he saw his grandmother's lifeless body in her chamber and immediately called for help.
