Report: AC Milan offer ₦1.8 billion for Nigerian midfield dynamo
The winner of the Italian Serie A, AC Milan, has made a bid for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika of €4 million (₦1.8 billion) to FC Midtjylland.

In the gap created by his countryman Frank Onyeka's departure for Brentford last summer, Onyedika, who only recently entered the spotlight, has stepped in admirably.

The FC Ebedei product has expanded significantly during the past three years. Since joining the Wolves' academy as an amateur, he has developed into a dependable midfielder.

Onyedika made 48 appearances across all leagues and competitions last year, aiding Midtjylland in their victory in the Danish Cup.

Due to his outstanding performances, the 21-year-old has drawn interest from abroad, with AC Milan being one of the most prominent suitors.

Franck Kessie, the Ivorian midfield captain for the Rossoneri, left the team after declining to extend his contract because he wanted to join Barcelona.

Onyedika and AC Milan have reportedly been in talks recently, and it appears those negotiations could soon be completed.

Gianluca DiMarzio claims that the Milan juggernauts have made Midtjylland an offer for Onyedika's services worth €4 million (₦1.8 billion) with bonuses.

Midtjylland, though, is asking for €10 million for their midfielder Dynamo. Onyedika is presently valued by Transfermarkt at €5 million, making him the eighth-highest valued player in the Danish Superligaen.
