Senibo Chris Finebone, the All Progressives Congress' (APC) publicity secretary in Rivers State, has defected to the PDP, which is currently in power.
Pictures showing Governor Nyesom Wike posing with Finebone, Davies Ikanya, the PDP's Sim Fubara, and the former chairman of the APC in Rivers, Davies Ikanya, surfaced on Friday morning.
The change has caused an unanticipated tangible excitement in the APC.
Finebone, who over the phone announced his switch from the APC to the PDP, stated that life is full of surprises and that it is what it is.
He emphasised that although he had no beef with any former party members, some people were unaware that the PDP's candidate for governor is his brother.
