Suspect: Why I ‘abducted’ pregnant mad woman
Folasade Adesanyan, a 47-year-old lady, claimed to have "abducted" a mentally unstable pregnant woman in order to remove her unborn child.

Adesanyan claimed that having only one child was the reason behind her decision.

The Ondo Amotekun Corps displayed six suspects, including her, for kidnapping victims in the Odigbo local government area.

Adesanyan was charged with taking her victims to Musbau Jimoh, a herbalist.

She allegedly said she wanted to take the victim's kid and heal her so she could have another child.

According to her: ” I saw a mad pregnant female and I wanted to heal the woman in order for her to deliver as I wanted to take the child.

“I am an herbalist. I wanted to take care of the mad woman’s child. I don’t know anything about kidnapping and I have not collected ransom before.”

Musbau claimed that this was his first experience with kidnapping.

The commander of Ondo Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, claimed that the suspects were experts in kidnapping and demanding ransom.

They would soon face charges in court, he said.
