On Sunday, a Mazda bus was involved in a single collision that resulted in three fatalities and ten injuries in the Onipepeye sector of the Abeokuta-Sagamu Expressway.
The accident was reported to news reporters in Abeokuta by Mr. Ahmed Umar, the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun.
The bus's APP 297 YC driver lost control at a bend and summerslammed, and he blamed the crash on excessive speed.
He continued, "Ten people were injured, two men and a woman died, and there were 15 people involved in the accident, including four men, nine women, a boy, and a girl."
Umar said the injured were taken State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, while the deceased were deposited at the morgue of same hospital.
The sector commander commiserated with the families of the crash victims and advised motorists to avoid excessive speeding.
