Yeremy Pino, a teenage Spanish sensation, is on the verge of joining English Premier League team Arsenal from Villarreal.
So far this summer, Arsenal has made several great purchases. Former Manchester City teammates Gabriel Jesus and Oleksander have already been signed by the Gunners. Fabio Vieira was also confirmed by them.
The Gunners have spent about €120 on hiring this summer in total. Arsenal's hiring efforts don't appear to be finished, though, as the Daily Mail says that they are getting close to signing Villarreal star Yeremy Pino.
Samuel Chukwueze, a forward from Nigeria, who has seen his playing time decrease since the 19-year-old came into the scene two years ago, may benefit from Pino's likely departure.
Pino and Chukwueze both play on the right side of the attack, but Pino has proven that he may be more dependable than the Super Eagles star.
Chukwueze played in four less Laliga games than Pino did last year. Pino started four games during the preseason, one more than Chukwueze.
Chukwueze might play more minutes if the Spain international leaves since Nicolas Jackson, a product of the academy, would be his only rival on the right wing. Villarreal could, however, add another player.
Chukwueze might find his footing and develop into a more skilled and useful player with more playing time.
Nonetheless, the Yellow Submarine would look to milk out as much as possible from deal for Pino as there are reports that they are in a financial conundrum.
