The Arewa community in the Southwest has proclaimed their support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate.
It stated that his election as the next president was required "at this crucial stage, considering the nation's overall vulnerability, particularly in the North."
The community called for unity in order for Tinubu/Shetima and other APC candidates to win, urging Nigerians to vote for competence above faith.
The coming together of Arewa leaders would assure success for Tinubu/Shetima and other APC candidates, according to Alhaji Sa'adu Dandare, Chairman of APC Southwest Arewa Community, who was speaking at the first meeting of the community and Declaration of Door to Door Campaign.
Hadi Sani, the special adviser to the governor of Ogun State on interethnic matters, argued that Nigerians should not choose their president based on their faith but rather choose someone who is devoted, wise, and qualified, such as Tinubu.
For equality, justice, and fairness, Asiwaju Tinubu should be elected as the next president, according to Alhaji Bashir Bubakar, Chairman of the Oyo State Arewa community.
He said the Tinubu/Shettima ticket would be the best choice to advance the nation in 2023.
