Members of the Labour Party organized a one-million-man walk for its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Ahmed, in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, on Saturday.
The walk began at the popular Kuto market in the state capital and proceeded through major streets before ending at the Panseke market.
Some coalition members urged members and party supporters to remain calm as preparations for the general election ramp up.
Tolulope Philips, a coalition member who spoke to journalists during the walk, said the walk was organized to raise awareness and support for a Peter Obi presidency.
He believes Obi is still the best candidate for the job.
Similar marches have taken place in other states such as Benue, Rivers, and Edo.
