ICIR to hold Weekend Journalism MasterClass for Journalists, Bloggers, others

The International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), on Thursday, announced that they would be holding a Weekend Journalism MasterClass starting on Sep 3, 2022.

This was announced by ICIR on their verified Twitter account.

The goal of this training is to teach journalists, bloggers, reporters, and editors the business and art of journalism in the digital age.

Five weekends, on September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, and October 29, 2022, are allotted for the training, which will all be held on Zoom.

The training is scheduled as follows;

• Sep 3, 2022  — 11:00 AM WAT
• Sep 17, 2022 — 11:00 AM WAT
• Oct 1, 2022 — 11:00 AM WAT
• Oct 15, 2022 — 11:00 AM WAT
• Oct 29, 2022 — 11:00 AM WAT

The first weekend September 3 2022 has been scheduled to feature Judd-Leonard Okafor, a multimedia journalist and communications specialist who is to speak on the topic "Understanding Health Reporting".
