The squad for the international friendly matchup against the Super Falcons of Nigeria has been announced by Japan's senior women's football team.
Futoshi Ikeda, the head coach, announced 25 players for the game scheduled for Thursday, October 6.
The meeting will mark the fourth encounter between the two nations.
Randy Waldrum, the head coach of the Super Falcons, also released his team for the friendly.
The only time the Super Falcons have defeated Japan was during their first-ever encounter at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
The Nadeshiko won both of the other back-to-back friendlies in 2013 by scores of 2-0.
While Nadeshiko has gone undefeated in their last six international games across all competitions, the Super Falcons have lost their last four games.
