The 422-member Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has nominated President Muhammadu Buhari to head it.
All members were instructed to pick up their appointment letters on Monday from the Secretary of the Council's office at the campaign headquarters in Abuja, per a brief statement from James Fakele.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party's standard bearer, and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party's national chairman, will serve as deputy chairmen, and all of the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) are included on the council list, according to a breakdown of the list.
Highlights of the council's membership also revealed that all party governors and contenders for governor in states not governed by the APC are State Coordinators.
The council is made up of 31 directories, 15 advisers and 75 campaign patrons.
