Odion Ighalo helps club to Super Cup glory
Al-Hilal defeated Zamalek 4-1 on Friday to win the Lusail Super Cup, and Odion Ighalo scored a goal in the victory.

The Saudi Professional League and Egyptian Premier League champions compete in a cup game known as the Lusail Cup.

At the Lusail Iconic Stadium, which will host the championship game of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in December, Ighalo scored twice—once during regulation time and once from the penalty spot—to help the Boss win the title.

Zizo provided the equaliser for the Egyptian giants in the 33rd minute after Ighalo had scored in the 18th.

After numerous attempts, neither team was able to score, resulting in extra time being added to the game.

With extra-time not yielding a winner, the game went to penalties and the Super Eagle stepped up to take the first kick which he scored.

Ighalo is already firing on all cylinders this season scoring two goals from three matches in this campaign for Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.

Last season, the former Watford striker made 13 appearances scoring 12 goals for his side.
