Ondo: 32 passengers missing as Amotekun begins search
In Ondo State, no fewer than 32 people have been reported missing.

They were reportedly travelling in a Toyota Coaster bus to return from a burial service in Benin City, Edo State, when they were ambushed and taken hostage by unidentified gunmen on the Oluku/Owo Road along the Ondo State axis.

Officials from the Ondo state Security Network, also known as Amotekun, have been scouring the forests along the axis in search of the victims of the kidnapping.

Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, the commander of Amotekun Corps, who confirmed the event, stated that members of the formation and other state security agencies were already hunting for the victims in the woodlands.

He promised that the command in collaboration with other agencies would adopt all available means to rescue the abductees and arrest the perpetrators.
