On 2021 Oyo State Productivity Day, the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources of Oyo State, Barrister Temilolu Ashamu, praised all the employees of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for winning the award for the State's most effective Ministry.
The Commissioner gave the commendation at the Ministry Conference Room and stated that the personnel should be inspired to work more for the advancement of the State by receiving the award.
He was grateful to governor Makinde for placing a high priority on employee welfare and providing them with an environment that allowed them to do their jobs well.
While praising the ministry's administration and workers, he stated that without their support and cooperation, the ministry's current successes would not have been possible.
He noted with delight that the management team of the Ministry deserves commendation and eulogy for cooperation with him in the implementation of programmes, projects and policies in line with the mandate given to the Ministry by the present Administration.
Ashamu further explained that when civil servants show more dedication, punctuality and honesty in the discharge of their duties, it will help in taking the state to a greater level.
He, therefore, enjoined the staff of the ministry to be more committed and dedicated to discharging their statutory duties in their various departments.
He appealed to staff and the general public to support the Governor’s second-term ambition in the Office so as to allow him to complete his good works.
