Police arrest two ‘armed robbers’ in Delta
Operatives from the Eagle-Net Special Squad were conducting a visibility patrol along the Issele-Azagba/Ogwashi-Uku road in Delta State when they apprehended two suspects. They were in possession of two live cartridges, a locally made double barrel pistol, one techno phone, one Infinix phone, one OPPO phone, one OPPO phone, as well as one techno phone, one Infinix phone, and one OPPO phone (N5,750).

Eze Paul, age 27, of Okofia, and Henry Dukkwu, age 28, both of Issele-Azagba in the Aniocha North Local Government Area, are the accused.

According to a report, they were detained after the Police, following a thorough search, detained a commercial tricycle with the tags DT/CT/10550B and Delta State colour Reg.No.AWK 941 QC.

Anthony Onyekaba'm' of No. 223 Asei Quarters Azagba Ogwashi-Uku was the driver of the commercial tricycle, which had four passengers.

The story was corroborated by the Delta State Police Command, which is headed by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, in a statement that was signed by DSP Bright Edafe, the police press officer.
