Udinese end Roma’s unbeaten run with 4 nil thrashing
When Roma lost 4-0 to Udinese on Sunday, their perfect start to the Serie A season came to an abrupt end, and they missed the opportunity to retake first place.

The team managed by Jose Mourinho had only given up one goal in their first four games of the season, but they were destroyed in the Stadio Friuli.

Teenage wing-backDestiny Udogie, who is on loan from Tottenham, gave Udinese the lead in the fifth minute by capitalising on a Rick Karsdorp mistake to score twice in three games.

When Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio allowed Lazar Samardzic's long-range shot to bounce into the net 11 minutes into the second half, the hosts increased their lead.

Roberto Pereyra curled a fine shot past Patricio with a quarter of an hour remaining to put the game to bed.

Sandi Lovric added to Roma’s woes in the 82nd minute by finishing off a counter-attack, sending Udinese above their opponents into fourth place.

Napoli lead the standings on goal difference from reigning champions AC Milan, who edged out city rivals Inter 3-2 at the San Siro on Saturday.
