2023: Peter Obi, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed unveil official campaign website
Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate and Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, his running mate, have unveiled their official campaign website.

This was made public on Friday morning by a tweet from Obi's Twitter account.

“I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit the official campaign website for the Obi-Datti Campaign organisation,” the tweet read in part.

I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit the official campaign website for the Obi-Datti Campaign organisation. You can use that medium to support and donate in cash & kind to the campaign https://t.co/4VvXWMJA7F -PO

The former Anambra state governor also disclosed that the website would be used to gather support for his aspirations for the top job of the land.

Thousands of supporters on Saturday rallied in Lagos and other cities for Peter Obi in the first major campaign march for the 2023 presidential election.

With Afrobeats tunes blasting from trucks, and crowds chanting his name, Obi’s supporters packed into highway service lanes in several districts in Lagos, Nigeria’s economic capital.

Obi supporters also rallied near the Lekki tollgate, where peaceful #EndSARS protests demanding better governance and an end to police brutality were violently disrupted by security forces in October 2020.

Though Obi was not at the rallies, his supporters also marched in other cities across the country.
