Jonathan Tunde Mark, the first child of former Senate President David Mark, has passed away.
It was learned that Tunde, 51, passed away in the UK following a protracted fight with an unidentified illness.
The news was confirmed to our correspondent on Friday morning by an aide to the former Senate.
People who wanted to offer their condolences to the Okpokpowulu K'Idoma family flocked to their GRA Otukpo home.
The late Tunde was born in Otukpo on October 13, 1971.
He received his first high school diploma while attending the Yaba Military School in Yaba, Lagos. Later, he made his way to Fernden Prep School in Haslemere, Surrey, the UK, to finish his secondary education.
Tunde is a Biochemist who obtained a B.Sc degree from Kings College, London. He studied immunology alongside biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, and Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was married with a daughter.
