A revised academic schedule for the continuation of the 2020–2021 academic session has been authorised by the Senate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA).
This was stated in a statement made on Thursday in Akure by Mr Richard Arifalo, the Registrar of the FUTA.
The announcement stated that students should anticipate arriving on campus on Sunday and that First Semester courses would resume on Monday.
The statement further noted that the consent came from Wednesday's Senate Special Meeting.
The change came after the statewide university teachers' strike, which lasted eight months and hampered academic operations in universities, was put on hold.
It, therefore, wished all students a safe trip back to the institution’s campus.
