The mother of billionaire entrepreneur Hajia Bola Shagaya, Alhaja Saadat AbdulRaheem Bakini, has passed away.
Alhaja Bakini passed away on October 9, 2022, a Sunday.
Alhaja Saadat AbdulRaheem Bakini passed away on Sunday, according to a statement released by Barr Abdulfatai Bakini on behalf of the family; funeral plans would be revealed later.
The statement read: “Alhaja Saadat Abdulraheem, is the mother of Nigeria business mogul, Hajia Muinat Shagaya and Haji Abdulrasaq Abdulraheem.
Burial arrangement will be announced later.”
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with the businesswoman and the Bakini family of Ilorin on the death of their mother.
The statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye reads; “Our heartfelt condolences go to Hajia Bola Shagaya, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Abdulraheem and the entire Bakini family of Ilorin Emirate.
“We pray Allah, exalted is He, to grant Alhaja Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort the entire family,” he said.
Just one day before the business tycoon's 63rd birthday, the deceased passed away.

Shagaya, who came from humble beginnings to become a commercial magnate and a force to be reckoned with, has assets in the banking, real estate, oil and gas, and photography industries.
