Kanye West is suspended from Twitter only a few hours after returning to the platform due to a restriction on his Instagram account.
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, has graciously welcomed Kanye West back to Twitter after his absence on election day in November 2020.
It took a limitation on Instagram for the Yeezy mogul to start using Twitter again after his account was inactive for almost two years.
The Grammy-winning rapper's Instagram account was blocked over the weekend for allegedly posting something that was anti-Semitic.
The American Jewish Committee (AJC) had called out the rapper over his use of language in a now-deleted post which they noted perpetuated
“anti-Semitic tropes like greed and control”.
That followed immediately after the “Donda” crooner had shared a screenshot of a text exchange between himself and Diddy, which allegedly appeared to show West claiming that Combs was controlled by Jewish people. “Jesus is a Jew,” he wrote in the caption.
Consequently, West moved his activities to Twitter where he immediately called out his estranged ‘nigga’ Mark for the restriction on his Instagram account.
The Tesla boss however took the opportunity to welcome back his ‘friend’ Ye after a long time on the microblogging app.
He wrote: “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend.”
West wasted no time in retweeting Musk’s welcome-back message.
But as of the time of this report, the Yeezy boss’ Twitter account has been suspended too for the perceived anti-Semitic post.
The tweet in question which has been removed was another rant against Jewish people.
“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going full death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jews also You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” the tweet reads.
